The Vehicle Activated Sign (VAS) was installed last April and has been monitoring the driving habits of those using the streets of Potterspury for the last 10 months.
Over almost 10 months and 16 battery charge cycles, nearly 300,000 speed measurements were recorded across Potterspury High Street (facing eastbound and westbound), Poundfield Road (facing southbound), and Church End (facing northbound).
Data shows that 1 in 6 vehicles (15.69%) travelling southbound (into the village) on Poundfield Road exceeded the 30 mph speed limit.
On average, each road recorded between 600 and 2,300 vehicles per day, with a maximum recorded speed of 66 mph.
